Gareth Young is Senior Vice President of US Operations at EnerCorp, a technology company that does flowback, and a 13-year veteran of the business. He left high school at 138 pounds, the hard gainer reading Muscle & Fitness behind a health food store counter.
A car wreck in his early 20s left him with herniated discs in his neck. Every surgeon wanted to fuse it. Instead he flew to Tijuana for a stem cell procedure, spent five weeks where nothing improved, and then, at week five, everything turned.
Nick and Gareth also get into "you either have discipline or you'll get disciplined", raising daughters with a healthy body image, the cinnamon-roll workout math, and how EnerCorp built a culture where the shop guys win dead-hang contests.
